Bootlegger’s Hill Vineyard was planted in 2009, making this the youngest of our estate vineyards. Charlie (our world renowned vineyard guy) has described this vineyard as a virtual candy store of clones and pruning styles. Our 2017 Bootlegger’s Hill Pinot Noir (our second single vineyard vintage) has an orange marmalade and dark raspberry scent that rolls smoothly into notes of dark plum and a hint of spice. The 25% whole cluster fermentation adds a distinct grip and structure to this wine.
